As most of you know we held our first annual Nasty Music Fest on August 8th 2015. I have had a few people contact me regarding the success of our event so I thought it best to post an update. I apologize for not doing this sooner. We are very pleased that through the efforts of our volunteers, donations and contributions we raised just over $17,000!!! We were able to provide the funds to IU Methodist Neuro ICU to purchase the MUCH needed chairs.
We have met with the foundation representative and are in the infancy stages of planning the room that wil eventually provide a place of rest and renewal including showers for the families of the patients in that unit. This room will carry Nicks name as the benefactor.
We are very excited about the progress that Nicks foundation has made for other families in this short period of time. We couldn’t have done it without the collaborative efforts of friends and family. THANK YOU..to all of you, our volunteers, the band’s who participated and local businesses who so graciously gave to make Nicks first event a success. We also cannot forget those who stopped by to support us and made their monetary contributions! We truly appreciate all of you!
